The acceptance of any contribution, donation, or grant is at the discretion of LARESHU. We do not accept any donations that cannot be used or spent in accordance with LARESHU’s mission and objectives.

No irrevocable gift, whether a direct gift or a life annuity, will be accepted if, under reasonable circumstances, it is likely to jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

LARESHU does not provide advice regarding the tax or other treatment of donations and encourages donors to consult their own professional advisors for guidance.

LARESHU also accepts cash donations.

Certain other donations—such as real estate, personal property, in-kind donations, illiquid securities, and contributions whose source is unclear or whose use is subject to restrictions—must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the specific obligations or liabilities they may impose on LARESHU.

LARESHU will issue a receipt to donors who meet the tax requirements for donated property.

Lareshu will respect donors’ wishes regarding designated donations and those who wish to remain anonymous. For anonymous donations, Lareshu will restrict access to donor information to only those staff members who need it.

Lareshu will not pay any compensation—whether in the form of commissions, referral fees, or otherwise—to any third party for directing a donation or a donor to Lareshu.
